Hello! My name is Chris Hansen, I am the owner of H20 Mechanics LLC which was founded in 2010 and formed as an S corporation in 2011. H20 Mechanics' major strength is mechanical design and the ability to manufacture. My passion for mechanical design was kicked in gear by the company my Dad worked for. I would go to work with my Dad on Father/Son days to watch engines roar testing oil additives. I was fascinated by the combustion engine and let's face it; the engine is a great tool for teaching mechanical engineering. This all led to a lifetime of fascination with anything that was fast and made a lot of noise, plus it made me a pretty good mechanic. I was really lucky to have had a great working career (semi-retired at age 55) and I am so thankful for the great mentors in my life which gave me the confidence to go out on my own and begin H20 Mechanics LLC

H20 Mechanics operates as a consulting company and luckily has several clients that have allowed us to work in different disciplines of engineering (we are thankful for all of them). We mostly focused on residential and commercial water treatment involving both equipment and system design. In late 2010 we began working with a company that needed a commercial air filter system that would perform at a level that wasn't yet available in the marketplace. With lots of time and effort, we began testing one of our prototype designs in 2011 and we were awarded a large job in 2012. We needed manufacturing space so we acquired an additional 3200 square feet for the production of the air filters. This effort resulted in our own filtration system which is called the Max Air 2000. To date, we have our filters in the USA, Vietnam, and Malaysia and still maintain the performance that is second to none

In 2016 we were contracted to design and build an irrigation system for pretreated septic effluent that would not freeze in cold harsh winter climates. The system we designed uses the geothermal energy from the earth to keep the free piston from freezing. The design has been very successful, we started prototype testing in 2016 and made several design improvements through 2018. To date, we have over 75 systems in Ohio's Geauga and surrounding counties. This has become H20 Mechanics' own patented product utilizing the trade name "FROSTLINE"
